FAMI-QS Certification

FAMI-QS is the shortened form of European Feed Additives and Premixtures Quality System. FAMI-QS Code of Practice is designed by FEFNAN (the European Association of Feed additive Manufacture), which includes all feed additives and premixtures. It has been issued on the official web-page of FAMI-QS (www.fami-qs.org).
FAMI-QS is EU certification system based on HACCP, ISO 9001:2000, GMP+, FEMAS and Q+S certification in feedstuff safety system. FAMI-QS includes products, manufacture, HACCP application, control of non-conforming products. Product requirements include the control of specifications, raw materials provider, raw materials, product stability and traceability. Manufacture requirements include workshop and infrastructure, work environment, finished goods, packaging and label, quality control, inspection, mixture, storage, transport, cleaning.
